In-company Manager Reporting
Hello Experts,
We are an entity established in Germany although have some of our companies outside DACH. We need some guidance on topic related to reporting structure in our HRIS. We were told by our legal team that the employee outside Germany should report to a local manager within that country and cannot report outside. I have worked with other companies in Germany and never heard of this condition before.
Need some guidance from your experience if it is possible for an employee outside Germany to report to Managers within Germany as they are the one's who are responsible for employees performance and compensation review.
Would be great to get some insights. Thanks in advance.

Hey Alok - this forum is more for questions of members of workers' councils in Germany, we might be out of our league here. The employee outside of Germany might be subject to local laws that result in this challenge. In doubt - always listen to legal. ;)
